Botox – Franklin Park

Fine lines and winkles getting you down? Want to do more than just pile on the concealer and foundation, or simply stay home? BOTOX may be the solution you’re looking for.

The beauty part of BOTOX, so to speak, is that you can see meaningful results after just one treatment and semi-permanent results in as little as three treatments per year. “Less is more” when it comes to BOTOX.

You might not realize it, but every time you smile, laugh, frown, raise your eyebrows, or pucker your lips for a kiss, your face is moving in such a way as to cause wrinkles. Certain overactive muscles in the face cause these wrinkles to appear. But BOTOX works by stopping the function of these muscles, allowing the wrinkles to fade and eventually disappear.

A qualified medical professional administers BOTOX in a doctor’s office. It can be done at any time of day, or even during your lunchbreak. No anesthetic is needed and there is no downtime after your procedure; you can return to work the same day.

In the event of bruising at the injection site, it is safe to apply makeup after receiving BOTOX.

Other side effects can include headache, dizziness, cold-like symptoms, or temporary drooping of the eyelid or eyebrow. Any side effects typically subside within 24 hours; in the event that they persist or worsen, your doctor will be able to treat them.

As long as BOTOX is administered by a qualified medical professional, there is no risk of affecting the rest of the facial musculature or inhibiting your ability to show emotions. Your eyebrows will still raise when something surprising happens; your lips will still smile when you laugh. But no more wrinkles will appear!

BOTOX also works well with other procedures. Coupling BOTOX with a chemical peel or dermaplaning produces skin that is not only free of wrinkles, but is also at its freshest and clearest. Dermal fillers are also a popular complement of BOTOX; who wouldn’t want youthful, wrinkle-free skin coupled with healthy-looking full lips or less sunken, softer-looking eyes?

The effects of one BOTOX injection can last up to 4 months. Your doctor will work with you on scheduling your BOTOX injections, as well as any other procedures you choose to have, to produce the best possible outcome.

BOTOX exists for people to feel better about how they look. That is its primary function. In this day and age, there’s no reason not to love the way you look. If you’re tired of looking tired, or stressed, or like you have a never-ending frown on your face, don’t worry. Talk to your doctor and learn if BOTOX is for you.
